SUMMARY:Home School Art Program
DESCRIPTION:Draw, paint, cut, glue… We believe art is fundamentally important too! Our homeschool program is for grades K-12 who do all of their learning from home. Join our program and give your kids an opportunity to express themselves as we open our studio every Friday to a world of creativity.\nEach month our program artist and your kids will dive into art lessons and creative themes. There will be a new project based on this idea and built around it week by week. At the end of the month the theme project will be completed and students will have learned so much!\nWith each class our homeschool artist will provide kids with a learning packet. This packet will be used to lead students through the craft of that day. They will also get to create projects that can be housed at ArtLink for our featured student artists and first Thursday art walks downtown.\nAll projects will be sent home upon completion. Students will be given opportunities to sell and display theirs within the studio and gallery. Here at Artlink, we believe in teaching artists how to become confident and believe in themselves. If you have a young artist who wants to gain knowledge about preparing and selling their work, then our homeschool program is for you!\nThe classes are mixed age ranges with each age/grade level determining the project. Based on this method, projects will increase in complexity as age appropriate and skill levels are based on a basic to advanced ability scale.\nThe classes have mixed age ranges with each age/grade level determining the project. However, please feel free to bring a mess free snack for your child.\n**Want to try our class before committing to a month? We have a Try Out Day! It is a one-time attendance as  a “trial run” to the monthly membership. They will experiment with margins to develop a foundation in skills. \nBASIC PLUS – DEVELOPING ART – Students will build upon the basics and begin developing their skills, techniques, and strengthen their understanding. They will also explore their abilities in a variety of mediums.\nINTERMEDIATE – STRONG FOUNDATIONS -Once the student has a strong grasp and understand of a variety of art skills, techniques, and mediums, they will dive deeper and explore the depth and possibilities of art expressions. They will create in a variety of mediums and learn to combine skills and techniques.\nADVANCED – FINE TUNE – The student will hyper focus on details within art mediums while creating detail-oriented art. They will prepare a portfolio, gallery display, and create for sale of personal creations.
