Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery Wreaths Across America Ceremony

The Captain William Edmiston Chapter, NSDAR will again host the National Wreaths Across America Day with a Commemorative Ceremony to remember and honor veterans interred in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Placement of wreaths on the graves by volunteers and wreath sponsors will follow the 11:00 ceremony.  The ceremony will include the Presentation of the Colors by the SAR Valentine Sevier Color Guard, a 21-gun salute by the Sevier Ranging Company, and TAPS honoring those veterans.  A representative/volunteer for each of the 8 official branches of the Military will dedicate a wreath and volunteers and sponsoring groups will lay wreaths on veterans’ graves that were sponsored directly or by ordering at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/TN0021.

The public is cordially invited to attend.  Baked goods and hot beverages will be available for volunteers and we are looking forward to a wonderful event!
