Join us at our Second Annual MCVC Dinner

Please join us for the 2nd annual  Montgomery County Veterans Coalition Fundraising Dinner to be held at the APSU MUC ballroom on March 8th starting at 5pm with the silent auction and 6pm for dinner. Common in Cause – Diverse in Mission

The Montgomery County Veterans Coalition brings together the community to share information, knowledge, support and resources in order to become a unified voice in advocating for veterans in our community by identifying issues and creating solutions, without the duplication of services


Through the meeting, social media, and email

  • Over 200 members representing over 100 organizations more than doubling our numbers over a 3 year period

  • Organizational Facebook reaches near 100,000 organic reaches every quarter with a following of over 1000 and emails that reach Montgomery, Houston, Stewart, Davidson, Rutherford, Christian, and Dickson counties, including Ft. Campbell

  • Created a previously non-existent vehicle to serve as a flow of information for veterans and their families

  • Average meeting attendees 40-50 a month

  • Each month there is a presentation or class given, networking and resourcing provided

  • Has helped to foster a true helping alliance 

Veteran’s Day on the Hill

  • Over a 3-year period we hosted 650 veterans for a day on the hill
  • Worked with legislators to create 8 pieces in areas of employment, mental health, education, property tax, and state veterans’ homes. The legislature passed 6 of 8 bills. 
  • Brought together state veteran organizations together to fall under one umbrella group to advocate for chosen veteran legislation throughout the legislative session

Community Education

  • We work with community partners to create and host community education events on topics relevant to our veteran community
  • Articles in Clarksvillenow on veteran related topics


  • Includes member list, organizational list, and organizations listed by services provided

Veteran Business Project 

  • Started as a project that became bizvets.biz, a business website like Angie’s List that highlights veteran owned and veteran friendly businesses and the resource directory for MCVC

Welcome Home Celebration

  • Annually partner with Visit Clarksville and AARP for a 4 day Welcome Home Celebration

Coalition Networking Event   

  • The Coalition has networking only evening events for Coalition members and veteran owned and friendly businesses. 

Coalition Outreach

  • The Coalition works to establish and support Coalitions in our surrounding counties.  Currently established in Stewart, Houston, and Dickson
