If you have been negatively impacted in any way by the tornado on 12/9, apply for FEMA assistance. Even if you have insurance, and even if your home was not destroyed or severely damaged, please apply.

Red Cross- Clients impacted by the tornadoes can come to the local fixed site 11am-7pm for immediate financial assistance December 26 – 30, 2023.                                                                         

The deadline to apply for Red Cross assistance is JANUARY 16th, 2024.

HELP FOR THE MILITARY The Red Cross will support service members, Veterans and their families affected by the tornadoes with requests for financial assistance through their military aid society or with community support resources by contacting the Hero Care Network online, via their website, the Hero Care App or by calling 1-877-272-7337.

The American Red Cross has financial assistance available for people whose primary home was destroyed or is unlivable due to the Tennessee tornadoes. The last day for this immediate financial assistance will be 1/16/2024.

To be eligible for this program, households must meet these three requirements:
• Your pre-disaster primary residence (renter or homeowner) is in a confirmed disaster-impacted
geographic area in Tennessee and is either destroyed or has sustained significant structural
damage that requires extensive repairs, or the damage is so severe that repairs are not feasible.
(This may include substantial failure of the roof, walls, or foundation, or a water line above 18
inches.)
• You must be able to provide proof of identity and residence.
